At 10:00 a.m. on July 29, a donation ceremony took place at the city’s epidemic prevention and control headquarters’ material reserve warehouse, marking Shenzhen Huichuangda Technology Co., Ltd.’s support for Shenyang’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 outbreak. Attendees included Wang Qinghai, Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission; Zhang Chunqing, Party Secretary and Full-time Vice President of the Shenyang Red Cross Society; Liu Yaoguo, Deputy Inspector of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission; Li Ming, Chairman of Shenzhen Huichuangda Technology Co., Ltd.; Yang Yang, President of Beijing Yishun Group, and other distinguished guests.
The donation ceremony was presided over by Xing Wanli, Director of the Relief and Rescue Department of the Shenyang Red Cross Society. In his speech, Chairman Li Ming expressed the donor organization’s heartfelt gratitude, emphasizing their commitment to contributing to Shenyang’s epidemic prevention and control efforts through acts of kindness and solidarity.
Chairman Zhang Chunqing delivered remarks, stating: "On behalf of the Shenyang Red Cross Society, I would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Shenzhen Huichuangda Technology Co., Ltd. for this generous donation. Over the years, our society has steadfastly upheld the humanitarian spirit of ‘Humanity, Universal Love, and Dedication,’ actively mobilizing societal resources to improve the conditions of vulnerable populations. We have remained firmly aligned with the central government’s priorities, playing an indispensable role in emergency rescue, first aid training, humanitarian assistance, voluntary blood donations, hematopoietic stem cell donations, as well as organ and body donation initiatives, and even international humanitarian aid and people-to-people diplomacy. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous caring enterprises and individuals from home and abroad have joined forces with our city’s leadership—working hand-in-hand with the municipal Party Committee and government—to overcome these challenging times. Through their generous contributions of both funds and supplies, we have received a total of RMB 24.1804 million in cash donations and materials valued at RMB 26.06 million. These vital resources have provided critical support for our city’s ongoing epidemic response efforts. Recently, Dalian City in our province reported locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, and the outbreak has already spread to several neighboring provinces and cities. In this critical moment, Shenzhen Huichuangda Technology Co., Ltd.’s donation of 300,000 N95 protective masks arrives precisely when it’s needed most—providing timely and much-needed relief. These masks will immediately be handed over to the city’s epidemic control headquarters for unified allocation and deployment in our current prevention and control operations. The Shenyang Red Cross Society remains fully committed to upholding the trust placed in us, approaching our mission with unwavering determination and compassionate service. Together, we will ensure that every act of kindness reaches the frontline of epidemic prevention and control, helping us achieve victory in this crucial battle!"
